At Scrimgeour & Company, we are committed to protecting the privacy of our clients and employees with respect to all personal and business information.
As a trusted accountant, Scrimgeour & Company depends on the privacy and confidentiality of certain information, and we are required by law to protect this information. We will only use client information (including personal information) obtained or disclosed for the purpose collected, except with the consent of the client or as required by law.
How information is protected
For Scrimgeour & Company to protect all personal and business information we offer a physical location with secure capabilities, secure electronic devices, confidential portals for uploading information, and have our own internal policies and guidelines in handling confidential information.

This website
This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not load fonts or scripts from third-party services. We do not collect any information from you by visiting it.
One exception. The map on the Visit page is supplied by OpenStreetMap. When that page loads the map, your browser requests the map images directly from OpenStreetMap, which means your IP address is visible to them, as it would be on any website you visit. OpenStreetMap sets no cookies and does not use the request for advertising. No other page loads it, and the office address is written out in full on the page whether or not the map loads.
The website does not accept documents. Anything confidential should go through the secure portal rather than by email or through this site.
Tax reference and calculator resources are published on a separate, third-party site and are not covered by this policy.
